Rachel Waldman, PA-C, L.Ac.

Rachel is the founder and CEO of Waldman Consulting Group, a certified physician assistant and a licensed acupuncturist.

She was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. After completing undergraduate studies in philosophy she gained experience travelling and working in many different fields.

Ultimately, her interest in applied philosophy lead to a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. After 6 years as an acupuncturist in private practice, she joined the team at Johns Hopkins Integrative Medicine Center. There, her passion for science and medicine blossomed. After 4 years at Hopkins, she completed a second Master’s degree in Health Science and Physician Assistant Studies and became a board certified PA.

She now practices as a clinical PA specializing in surgical/interventional spine and pain management. She offers mentoring, coaching and editing services to pre-PA’s, students and professionals from every field. She also teaches and speaks around the country on a wide range of topics.

Rachel lives and works in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband and 2 children. She is fluent in French and her personal interests include equestrian sports, reading, travelling, cooking, gardening, photography, camping and cross-country skiing. She is also the founder of Ride4Life, a national equestrian event benefiting Be The Match.

*Please be aware that on 5/24/2021, the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) voted decisively to change the profession’s official title from “Physician Assistant” to “Physician Associate.” It will take some time for the name change to be fully reflected in law and licensure. Until then, use of the title “Physician Assistant” will continue.
